My Roland DT-100 Drawing Tablet

The Roland DT-100 Digitizer Tablet is an accessory for the Roland sampler that is very rare. It is not really necessary to program sample sets but it could be funny to use the "wave drawing" function. The drawing tablet acts like a mouse and not like a graphic tablet you know from the computers: the digitizer tablet works relative and not absolute!!! So if you want to move to the right move the pen to the right. If you reach the tablet border just lift the pen and draw again from left to right!

On the S-330, S-550 and S-760 samplers you can't set the control to the DT-100 tablet as there is no menu entry for it. And it doesn't work with any of the settings. But you can use the DT-100 tablet when you route it through the RC-100 remote control!!!
(Thanks to Martin Wulff from Germany for this information!)

Philips NMS-1150 Graphic Tablet:

While searching on Ebay for some instruments to buy I found the Philips Graphic Tablet NMS-1150. And have a look at the pictures - it seems that it is exactly the same as the DT-100 Digitizer Tablet from Roland!!! (When you remember also the Philips MSX-mouse looks like the Roland MU-1 mouse).
